Amplify Good emerged out of a belief that the success of purpose-driven enterprises can make the world a better place. Whether for-profit or non-profit, large or small, they are the engine behind a more conscious version of capitalism and a more fulfilling approach to work (and life). But their impact is often limited by a lack of effective marketing and communications efforts, most often due to a shortage of funds, expertise or hands on deck.
Many professionals and college students with knowledge of marketing and related fields are hungry to make a difference. Professionals want to put their skills to good use, while students want to learn and get experience in an environment that’s aligned with their values. We bring the two together to work collaboratively on client projects, creating a service-learning opportunity with real-world impact.

Social impact startups, businesses and nonprofits tell us about their needs, and we help them clarify and write the brief. We then distribute it to our network of professional Amplifiers.
Experienced agency, in-house and freelance professionals respond if their experience and values align with those of the enterprise. The enterprise reviews responses and is able to select the person or team they think would make a good fit as a mentor partner. Mentors provide strategic direction and feedback throughout the project.
Our university partners share the opportunity with students in qualifying programs. Interested students are invited to pitch the business (as an agency or freelancer would) with guidance from professionals. Those that win the business get to execution of the project, with input and oversight from their mentors.
